Iza Calzado just introduced her first child with her husband Ben Wintle to the public earlier today, March 26.

In an Instagram post, the Kapamilya actress gave a glimpse of their baby who she and her husband named Deia Amihan.

Iza shared an intimate photo showing the lower part of Deia Amihan’s face, as well as her hands which can be seen holding what netizens believe to be her parents.

“Words can't describe the love we're feeling as we introduce our precious baby girl, Deia Amihan Calzado Wintle,” Iza wrote.

The 40-year-old celebrity revealed that Deia Amihan is actually two months old already. She gave birth last January 26.

“Born on January 26th, 2023, she's already stolen our hearts and brought so much joy into our lives. We're so grateful for the love and support from our family and friends, and can't wait for all the adventures that lie ahead. Big love from our family to yours! #WintleHasArrived,” she remarked.

Netizens also noticed that the name the couple gave their daughter was Iza’s character in one of her most memorable television shows, Encatandia. Iza played the role of Amihan in the said show.

When Iza did her maternity shoot, she opted to go for an Amihan-themed pictorial, gaining thousands of likes from fans for successfully pulling it off.

The couple’s celebrity friends, including Bianca Gonzalez, Vina Morales, Isabel Oli, and Jessy Mendiola, among others, showered and welcomed baby Deia Amihan in the comments section.

While preparing to give birth, Iza announced to her Instagram followers that she would be taking a short break from social media.

“I love you Papa. I never knew this kind of pain and longing. I will always be a Papa's girl,” she wrote.

In a separate Instagram post, Sunshine asked everyone to pray for her whole family as they go through one of the hardest times in their lives. The actress added how heartbroken she is knowing she wouldn’t be able to receive her father’s hugs anymore.

”About to board the most painful flight I will ever take. No more Papa's big smile and warm hug to welcome me.Please whisper a prayer for My Papa Isagani Bengson Dizon Jr. who died peacefully in his sleep March 20, 2023.

“Please pray for strength for my two siblings Sami and Isabel Dizon and the whole family. Thank you to those who called, messaged me personally, left messages and to those whom we personally do not know and yet sent their sympathies, thank you,” she continued.

Aside from Sunshine’s fans giving their deepest sympathies in the comment section, the actress’s celebrity friends such as Carla Abellana, Angelika dela Cruz, Jake Ejercito, and Vina Morales, among others said their condolences and sent emotional support for her as well.

Meanwhile, Sunshine thanked her longtime friend in the entertainment industry, Karylle, as the latter was able to help her find a flight going to the US.

“Thank you sister and yael sa pag hanap ng flight ko. Love you,” Sunshine replied.

Sunshine and her family have yet to announce the details of their father’s wake as of this writing.

In her latest post on social media, Iza announced to her 1.6M Instagram followers that she would be taking a short hiatus from social media as she prepares to give birth. The talented actress is reported due date is last week of this month or first week of February.

Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado took to Instagram to celebrate her late father’s birthday last January 20. The actress penned a heartwarming post for her father and shared some memories with her followers on social media.

Iza is the daughter of the late actor-director Lito Calzado who passed away when he was 65 years old due to liver cancer.

The actress shared a photo of the two of them hugging it out when she was still a child. Iza claimed that she will always be her “daddy’s girl” even though she will soon become a mother herself.

“Today, I remember your warm embrace. This same warmth you passed on to me has been one of my strengths in life and as the days come closer to giving birth to my child, I pray she inherits your warm, charming and calming energy,” she wrote.

The late actor would’ve turned 78 years old last January 20. Iza imagined what it would’ve been like if her father was still alive and celebrating his special day.

“You would have been 78 today! Probably still dancing, delightfully grooving to the excitement of meeting your grandchild. 🥳 I can picture your big smile,” she added.

The 40-year-old actress asked her father to keep her and his grandchild safe during her pregnancy journey and when she gives birth. Iza is weeks away from giving birth to her first child.

Janella Salvador is mourning the loss of another pet, this time her 17-year-old cat Twinkie.

The Mars Ravelo’s Darna actress shared the sad news with her fans on Instagram on Monday, January 16. Janella posted a throwback photo of herself and Twinkie taken when she was just 7 years old.

“The hardest part about loving animals is knowing that you’re bound to outlive them,” she began.

“That’s 7 year old me in February ‘06, proud and ecstatic to be holding my advanced 8th birthday gift from my mama. I found him at a pet shop in Pasay and fell in love so fast that I didn’t want to leave him behind and wait for my birthday. He was the perfect cuddly gentle cat anyone could ever dream of,” Janella wrote.

She went on, “Thank you for sharing 17 years of your life with us, Twinkie. You have a spot in my heart forever.”

Friends and fans of Janella shared their condolences in the wake of her loss, including Loisa Andalio, Iza Calzado, Arci Muñoz, Sue Ramirez, and Melai Cantiveros.

It was only in July last year when Janella lost her pet dog, Max.

The actress took to social media to share a touching tribute to her beloved Alaskan Malamute, whom she considered not just a pet but as her “partner in life.”

“To some I might sound dramatic but I feel like there’s now a big hole in my chest; that I now lack a part of me. It’s probably because I feel like I didn’t just lose a pet— I lost a partner in life,” she wrote.

“I lost someone who gave me the most unconditional love. I lost someone who was always so happy to see me and patiently waited when I was too busy. I lost someone who knew when I was feeling terrible and went up to me to give me the warmest hugs and just sat there with me and my tears in silence. I lost my shadow… the one who would follow me to the refrigerator to ask me to share my ice cubes with him. I lost my giant bear who thought he was small; who loved it when we had guests. I always laughed in my head when people would get frightened due to his size because he could never ever even hurt a fly. I lost my first baby boy who was always so gentle with Jude,” she said, referring to her son. “He was supposed to grow old with him.”

She then thanked Max for sharing his precious life with her.

“My dearest Max, I hope you knew and felt that you are so loved. I’ve been beating myself up over the fact that I wasn’t able to hold your paw during your last few moments… but I was told that you were smiling through the pain. You were a happy boy until the very end. THE GOODEST BOI EVER,” she wrote.

“I will always hold on to the fact that you were the only pup I wanted from the litter and you were also the first one to run to me. You chose me and I chose you. Thank you for sharing your life with me. ‘til we meet again. Please make me sundo with your slobbery mouth and big waggity tail when it’s my time to go. Run free, my Maxipoo. The house will never be the same without your big fluffy body and barks. I love you,” said Janella.

Danica Sotto has given birth to her third child with her husband Marc Pingris, the two announced on social media over the weekend.

“All glory, praise and honor to God! Grateful for a smooth and safe delivery. Our hearts our filled with so much joy!!!” wrote Danica as she shared clips of her and her family with their newborn son.

“Still feels so surreal. Can’t believe he’s finally in my arms. Thank you to those who prayed and believed with us,” she added.

Marc, for his part, proudly introduced their son, Jean-Luc Pingris.

“LORD, thank you! Gabayan nyo po ako na mapalaki sila ng maayos at gabayan mo ko Lord sa lahat lahat ng bagay na gagawin ko para sa pamilya ko. Salamat at maayos na nanganak si Danica, salamat po Ama!” he began.

“Welcome to the world Jean-Luc Pingris! Love you!” he wrote. “Thank you sa mga kaibigan at family namin ni Danica, sa lahat ng mga nag pray!”

Fans and showbiz friends of the couple quickly congratulated them on the milestone, including Pauleen Luna, Iza Calzado, Camille Prats, iya Villania, and Sunshine Dizon.

“Ang sarap! We love you all!” wrote Pauleen.

“Congratulations, Mare! So so happy for you guys!” added Iza.

It was in June last year when Danica and Marc announced that they were expecting their third child together.

The pair — who have been married since 2007 — welcomed their firstborn son, Jean Michael, in 2008. He turned 14 years old last July.

Meanwhile, their daughter Anielle Micaela was born in 2011. She celebrated her 11th birthday last September, after surviving a bout of dengue.

The building was originally a meat processing facility known as Morris Packing sarecxi manqanis sheketeba when Alvin "Doc" Bridges purchased all the shares and became the sole.

The actress flew to the US as her father was based there.

The 39-year-old celebrity revealed how devastated and hurt she was after hearing the news of her father’s passing.

“I love you Papa. I never knew this kind of pain and longing. I will always be a Papa's girl,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Sunshine thanked her longtime friend in the entertainment industry, Karylle, as the latter was able to help her find a flight going to the US.

“Praying with u sister,” Karylle wrote.

“Thank you sister and yael sa pag hanap ng flight ko. Love you,” Sunshine replied.

Sunshine and her family have yet to announce the details of their father’s wake as of this writing.
