‘Proudly Filipino’: Heart Evangelista collaborates with Louis Vuitton for ‘Harana’ hand-painted bag

Just in time for the Philippine Independence Day, Heart Evangelista shared her collaboration with luxury brand Louis Vuitton.

On Instagram, Heart posted snapshots of the hand-painted LV bag she dubbed as "Harana."

"Proudly Filipino. 🇵🇭 ♥️ @louisvuitton #LVCapucines #LoveMarieHandpaintedBags," Heart posted on Instagram.

Speaking to Kevin Kwan for a Harper's Bazaar feature in 2018, Heart shared how she started hand-painting bags.

"I had an orange lizard skin Birkin bag and I was eating French fries at Chili’s, and I didn’t realize I was getting grease all over the bottom. I tried to clean it, but it was just impossible to fix, so I thought, ‘Why don’t I paint on it?’" Heart relayed in the feature.
