KZ Tandingan's new song ‘Toyo’ is 'experimental'

Kapamilya singer and songwriter KZ Tandingan released her latest single &ldquo;Toyo&rdquo; on Friday, September 27.&nbsp;During the launch on Thursday, September 26 at Takeover Lounger in Katipunan, Quezon City, KZ shared how she ended up writing a song different from what she usually does.&nbsp;&ldquo;Since last year I&rsquo;ve been trying to work on my album. Tapos I have this specific vision for the album, specific sound, and the direction of the album. Sabi niya naman, why don&rsquo;t I try to write something completely left field,&rdquo; she added.&nbsp;KZ has been known for writing heartfelt, sad, and relatable songs, which her fans and listeners fell in love with. However, as she experienced writer&rsquo;s block, she then challenged herself to do something outside her comfort zone.&nbsp;&ldquo;&lsquo;Di rin naman din masaya yung ngayon but I mean mas tunong bright kasi yung &lsquo;Toyo&rsquo;.
