In their guest appearance on the Kapamilya variety show ASAP Natin ‘To last Sunday, May 12, Kim and Paulo made the happy announcement of their hit show.

“It’s official. Kilig season is on for all  KimPaus,” Kim said, as their hit series will air every weekend on free TV.

The Philippine adaptation is set to air on Saturdays, 7:15 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z and at 8 p.m. on TV5. The show will also run every Sunday at 8 p.m. on Kapmilya Channel and A2Z and 8:15 p.m. on TV5.

What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim started streaming on the video streaming platform Viu last March and quickly became the most viewed series and trending topic on different social media platforms.

“Ang wish ko sana maraming mapasaya at mapangiti ang What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim sa paglabas sa TV,” Paulo said, as he also celebrated his birthday with the cast.

Aside from Kim and Paulo, other stars such as Jake Cuenca, Pepe Herrera, Angeline Quinto, Kaori Oinuma, Gillian Vicencio, Yves Flores, Janice de Belen, Franco Laurel, Romnick Sarmenta, and Cai Cortez are also part of the star-studded cast.

Kim and Paulo first worked together as an onscreen pair in the hit series Linlang, which airs weekdays, 8:45 p.m.

The two stars who captivated viewers with their performance and undeniable chemistry.

When asked what’s the secret to their good pairing, Paulo expressed that it was the right timing for the two of them to work on a great series together.

“I think the timing and maybe the roles as well,” Paulo said. “Pinagbigyan yung tambalan para magpakilig and magpasaya sa manonood.”

In an interview during the series' press conference last March, Kim admitted that having already worked together was an advantage for her and Paulo on the set of their new show, where she plays a very devoted secretary to a narcissistic vice-chairman of a company.

“Siguro sa tagal namin dito sa industriya, ngayon lang talaga kami nagkasama ni Paulo mag-work and after Linlang and then ito nasundan kami ng another project, so mas kilala na namin ang isa’t isa,” she said.

She added that she couldn’t explain her natural chemistry with Paulo that made their fans enjoy watching them on screen.

“Nakaka-amaze din na marami yung sumusuporta sa aming dalawa, which is nagugulat talaga kami. We’re very thankful, of course, sa suporta online and nakakagulat na sa edad namin na ito meron pang nag-s-ship.’ Parang weird yung feeling pero salamat po. Sobra kaming natutuwa and na-ha-happy. Minsan nagbabasa kami sa X at sabi nila ganito ka daw, ganyan, ganyan. Tapos nagtatawanan lang kami. I’m very thankful,” she stated.
