Kapamilya hosts Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez closed It’s Showtime’s 15th year celebration with an advocacy on mental health awareness on Friday, October 25.

Closing this year's anniversary special, the team, collectively  known as JJC, shared a special message about their experiences as artists.

Last year ang concept namin is tungkol sa social media. (Sabi ko), ‘Ano kaya pwede maganda yung talagang napapanahon?’ And then nagkasundo kami. Parang ano ngayon ng Mental Health talaga. Maraming nakakaranas,” Jhong explained.

He also shared that the act was derived from the negative comments and feedback that his fellow hosts, Cianne and Jackie, had been receiving.

Jhong also reiterated that they are people, who despite showing a happy and fun side, also experience challenges and struggles.

In their performance, Cianne portrayed a girl who was forced to do things she didn’t like in order to be accepted by those around her. She danced alongside former Sexbomb member and actress Rochelle Pangilinan.

Jackie, on the other hand, shared a very personal story about going through a breakup as she teamed up with Kapuso actor Kokoy de Santos for an aerial rope choreography.

For Jhong’s part, the artist-politician shared the stage with his daughter, Sarina Hilario, and social media personality Nina Guerrero.

Jhong, Jackie, and Cianne also performed a daring number where they took turns riding the Cirque du Soleil “Wheel of Death,” impressing the audience and judges.

Their performance also featured other stars advocating for Mental Health Awareness, including actresses Maxene Magalona, Sofia Andres, and Louise delos Reyes, as well as beauty queens Kylie Verzosa and Michelle Dee, and singer Jed Madela.

“Ito po, hindi lang po ito performance. It’s an advocacy.

They also explained the importance of the green scarfs they were wearing.

I care for your Mental Health’,” Jhong stated.

The group also dedicated their performance to the staff and crew of the show who have been doing their best for the past weeks despite personal struggles.

Saludo kami sa inyo and we love you and we care for you,” Jhong said.
