Bela Padilla turned to social media to express her heartfelt appreciation for her friends, Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban.

In an Instagram post over the weekend, Bela thanked Kim and Angelica for being a shoulder to lean on following the recent death of her father, Cornelius Gary Sullivan.

“When you can’t see the sun. Call your friends who radiate the same warmth. @chinitaprincess and @iamangelicap were my friends who immediately asked if I needed them here after I found out about my dad and I really appreciate them both so much. Ba’t ako nate-teary eyed magsulaaaat,” she wrote.

Specifically, the actress thanked Kim for visiting and spending time with her in Zurich, Switzerland.

“Kim, among the three of us, never really liked traveling alone, before… Not because she couldn’t do it, but because she always wants to share her happy memories with her friends and loved ones. So it must’ve been daunting for her to go cross country alone…but she did it to spend 24 hours with me,” she said.

“And I’m not only proud of her for doing that and so many other new things (like swimming in Lake Zurich and the Limmat (river) and eating moules et frites) I’m also extremely grateful. Thank you Kimmy for being so warm and happy. For people who are actually used to being alone or traveling alone… Kim feels like home,” Bela added.

In the comments section, Kim expressed her love for her “Taurean twin.”

“Bakit nakaka-iyak???? Love you momsy!!! Love you so much!!! We are forever TAUREAN TWINS!!!! Love you for life!!!!!” she said.

Kim, 33, and Bela, 32, have been good friends since 2017. The two are part of the famous barkada “AngBeKi,” together with Angelica, 36.

Previously, Kim said that it was during a party of a common friend that their friendship group was unexpectedly formed six years ago.

“Gatecrasher kami ni Bela. Galing kami sa isang birthday tapos ayaw pa naming umuwi. Pumunta kami doon sa birthday ni direk Andoy Ranay na nandoon si Angelica. Ang saya saya. Nagtawanan na lang kami hanggang sa lagi na lang kami lumalabas,” she said.

When asked what they all have in common, the actress said: “Ang babaw pala naming lahat. 'Yung mga simpleng jokes, tawang tawa kami. 'Yung simpleng takbo sa UP, enjoy na enjoy kami.”

The trio were last seen together in March when Kim and Bela visited Angelica and her family in Subic.
