<p>Karen Davila is one proud mom after her son David, who has autism, started his first year in college.</p><p>On her Instagram page, the ABS-CBN Broadcaster shared that David is now studying at the University of the Philippines. &nbsp;</p><p>&quot;PROUD OF YOU DAVID 🇵🇭 Wow! This day!! David, now a freshman at the UP College of Fine Arts for the Associate in Arts undergraduate program!&quot; she wrote.</p><p>&quot;Last May 2023, David took the talent determination test along with hundreds of students at the UP Diliman campus. No parents allowed during testing. By June, we got the letter that David made it! My heart was bursting with joy!&quot; she further relayed. &nbsp;</p><p>On how Karen prepared David for college, she shared: &quot;Preparing a child in the autism spectrum for college takes a lot of support &amp; planning.
