Jomari Yllana on having a Las Vegas chapel wedding

<p>After formally proposing to girlfriend Abby Viduya earlier this year, actor and politician Jomari Yllana said he is already looking forward to their civil wedding in a Las Vegas chapel this coming November.</p><p>The couple had first dated each other as teenagers while in showbiz and had reconnected again online during the pandemic and both admitted that they are each other&rsquo;s first love.</p><p>&ldquo;Wala naman kaming preparation. Lilipad lang kami ng bilis, Ang malaking preparation yung church wedding namin sa 2024 or 2025. Yun yung big preparation. Kami, mag-quick getaway lang kami sa ibang bansa dahil isasabay ko siya sa Halloween. We&rsquo;ll just fly out very quick and then church wedding kami sometime next year. Jomari has been involved in motor sports since he was a teen and also founded the company Yllana Racing.</p><p>&ldquo;Sometimes magigising ako isang umaga, magkukuwentuhan kami na &lsquo;Bakit ko ba ginagawa ito? (laughs)&rsquo; Of course yung pressure and all that, although matibay tayo diyan. Galing tayong production. Nag-po-produce tayo ng mga shows nung araw so it was just a matter of time. Si Abby, she&rsquo;s more on trucks. Ang hilig niya trucks. Ang mga kotse niya in Canada were all trucks. Malalaking mga pickup truck ang hilig niya,&rdquo; he shared.</p><p>When it comes to his acting career, Jomari said it has definitely taken a backseat since he ran for public office but he did agree to do one acting gig this year. The former Gwapings member also admitted he needs to prepare his body for getting back in front of the camera.</p><p>&ldquo;Hinahanap ko yung abs ko muna. Nawawala pa siya (laughs). Although I did something special. I did a project. It was my first since 2016 hindi ako tumanggap eh. All the shows were asking me to join and sabi ko hindi, trabaho muna ako sa public service. Magmamatrikula lang ako so I did one special, it&rsquo;s with the production of Dondon Monteverde and Erik Matti. Kaka-shoot ko lang mga three months ago. I&rsquo;m sure they&rsquo;ll be the one to announce it because it&rsquo;s a franchise na special project. So sila na mag-a-announce ng title and all. I heard they&rsquo;re going to announce it soon,&rdquo; he said.</p>
