PULP Live World Chief Operating Officer Happee Sy-Go shared details about the upcoming Asia Artist Awards (AAA) which will be held in the Philippines for the first time this coming December.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Happee revealed that the event will have two parts which are the red carpet event and the awards ceremony.

"The event is gonna be at least 6-7 hours long coz red carpet alone is 2 hrs na, then 4 hours awarding ceremony with performances from K-pop idols," she stated.

This year's AAA will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on December 14 and will be hosted by Star News alongside PULP, Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, and TONZ Entertainment as co-hosts.

"We at PULP LIVE WORLD are very honored to have been chosen as the Philippine partner to host this year's Asian Artist Awards. We look forward to the privilege of showcasing the very best of our country's warmth and hospitality to Asia's great stars and to making this year's AAAs a tremendous success for everyone involved," Happee remarked.

PULP Live World has been at the forefront of bringing K-Pop acts to the Philippines for years including SEVENTEEN, Super Junior, BTS, and ENHYPEN, among others.

Following the news about the upcoming AAA in the Philippines, Filipino netizens were quick to express their excitement about the event.

Asia Artist Awards recognizes the exceptional accomplishments and global impact of Asian artists in the fields of television, cinema, and music.

Last year, AAA was held in Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

The first ceremony was held in November 2016 at Kyung Hee University's Hall of Peace in Seoul. It was broadcasted live via satellite to different parts of Asia.
