Kylie Minogue debuts new single ‘Padam Padam’ from her upcoming album ‘Tension’

Kylie Minogue will be coming out with a new album soon.&nbsp;The Australian singer&rsquo;s last album,&nbsp;Disco, came out in 2020 so fans have been waiting for her return for quite some time. Her new studio album,&nbsp;Tension, is set for release on September 22 and will feature dance and pop beats.&nbsp;&ldquo;I started this album with an open mind and a blank page. Unlike my last two albums there wasn&rsquo;t a &lsquo;theme,&rsquo; it was about finding the heart or the fun or the fantasy of that moment and always trying to service the song. I wanted to celebrate each song&rsquo;s individuality and to dive into that freedom. I would say it&rsquo;s a blend of personal reflection, club abandon and melancholic high,&rdquo; Kylie said of her upcoming album.&nbsp;Her 16th studio album will have 11 tracks for its standard edition with three bonus tracks for the deluxe version.&nbsp;Seven of&nbsp;Tension&rsquo;s tracks were produced and co-written with Kylie&rsquo;s long-time collaborators, Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell. The pair also worked with her on her previous album.&nbsp;&ldquo;I loved being back in the studio with my collaborators but was also able to benefit from remote recording, which we have all got used to&mdash;my mobile studio never left my side for a year and a half! The album is a mix of songs I have written and songs which really spoke to me. Making this album helped me navigate challenging times and celebrate the now. The British director has won a Grammy for her work with Annie Lennox for the latter&rsquo;s video album&nbsp;Diva&nbsp;and an MTV Music Video Award for the single &ldquo;Why&rdquo; from the same album.&nbsp;The video features a Kylie dressed in a red Thierry Mugler catsuit while working through the &ldquo;hypnotic electro&rdquo; song surrounded by dancers.
