Taylor Swift kicked off her The Eras Tour on Friday, March 17 (US time) at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

As concert goers flocked to the venue, fans online got to have a first look at Taylor's massive stage for the tour as photos of it started circulating online.

Concert goers from different sections at the stadium had been sharing the view from their seats on social media.

Various fans at the concert also took to social media to express their elation about the Eras Tour opening night.

"Long live all the memories we’re about to make during OPENING NIGHT!! I can’t believe this day is finally here, I’m SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU AGAIN," one fan said.

"Is anyone else sobbing already because you can’t believe this is real?!" another fan wrote.

Paramore and Gayle were tapped as opening acts for the opening night of The Eras Tour in Glendale.

In an interview with Paramore with Spotify, the band expressed their elation to be part of the opening night of Taylor's historic massive tour.

"It means so much that we're on this tour with Taylor because we've genuinely been able to watch her grow as an artist from the start especially being from Nashville," Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams said.

She added: "So it's just really special to kinda celebrate her career so far. It kind of still feels like she's just getting started."

To celebrate Taylor's sold-out stadium shows on March 17 and 18, Glendale temporarily changed its name to Swift City.

“Glendale is SO enchanted to meet Taylor Swift as she kicks off ‘The Eras Tour’ at State Farm Stadium that the city has taken on SWIFT CITY as a symbolic new name for March 17 and 18,” the city said in a statement on its official website.

Prior to the opening night, Taylor also dropped four unreleased songs including “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version),” “Safe & Sound (Ft. Joy Williams and John Paul White) (Taylor’s Version),” “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)”, and “All of the Girls You Loved Before.”
