I&rsquo;ve been a fan of Ms Vilma Santos&rsquo; Ishmael Bernal marriage twin bill &lsquo;Relasyon&rsquo; and &lsquo;Broken Marriage.&rsquo; I also loved her in the dark Maryo J movie &lsquo;Tagos ng Dugo.&rsquo; But beyond her serious performances, her versatility and range was showcased full on in her sweet and endearing performance in Olive Lamasan&rsquo;s &lsquo;In My Life,&rsquo;&rdquo; Erik said.&nbsp;&ldquo;It has been a dream to make a film for The Vilma Santos,&rdquo; he added. &ldquo;Finally, we&rsquo;ve found something to work on that will, again, show us how great an actress she has always been.&rdquo;Erik &mdash; &nbsp;who is known for his work on films Honor Thy Father and the acclaimed On The Job series &mdash; said he is looking forward to creating a fresh story and a memorable character for Vilma.&nbsp;&ldquo;Happy that we are all excited for this project. We have lots of time to prepare. See you again soon!&rdquo; he said.It was back in September 2022 when Erik first confirmed that he and Vilma were teaming up for a movie project.At the time, he said, &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve worked with <a href="https://www.instagram.com/rosavilmasantosrecto/">@rosavilmasantosrecto</a> in a few commercials but I&rsquo;ve always wished to do a movie with the Philippine film industry&rsquo;s most iconic star for all seasons. We will be developing two projects with her and after hearing the stories, Ate Vi gave it a nod. A very happy, excited nod. So excited!!! Vilma&rsquo;s last big screen project was the comedy-drama Everything About Her, which also starred Angel Locsin and Xian Lim.
