Justin Bieber has decided to take a break from touring after performing in Europe and Brazil. The singer relayed that the touring had taken a toll on him. It can be recalled that Justin just recently recovered from his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
On his Instagram page, the singer posted, "Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed. As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour."
He continued, "After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock In Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil."
Justin revealed that after getting off stage in Brazil, "the exhaustion overtook me and I realized I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being."
He assured his fans that he is going to be okay.
"But I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately," he said.
Following Justin's announcement, tour organizer AEG Presents Asia issued a statement on social media saying that the Asia tour leg is expected to continue as scheduled.
"Beliebers in Asia, we are aware that @justinbieber has decided to take a break from touring and wish Justin a speedy recovery and admire his decision to put his health first. We can’t wait to see him back on the road. Our understanding is the Asia leg of the tour is set to continue as scheduled. Stay tuned for more updates," the tour organizer posted.
