Janella Salvador reacts to positive feedback on her portrayal of Valentina

<p>Janella Salvador admitted that she feels overwhelmed by the positive feedback she has been getting on social media for her portrayal of Valentina. </p><p>In an interview with CNN Philippines, the Kapamilya actress shared her reaction to the warm response on her character even though she is playing a villain in <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna'><em><u><strong>Darna</strong></u></em></a>. </p><p>"When I read tweets, I get kinda overwhelmed by the warmth and support they gave me as Valentina, as Regina. They call themselves 'Valentina Apologists' right now because they say no matter what I do, they're gonna justify it. I am really happy with all the support that my character  is receiving. Of course the support that I am receiving is also overwhelming," she said.  </p><p>Janella revealed she instantly wanted to take on the character as soon as she read the script for the role.</p><p>"I fell in love with the character instantly like I was like, 'Oh I need to get this role.' Right now, I am starting to train as well. So, I'm gonna be fighting," she stated.

<p>Janella Salvador admitted that she feels overwhelmed by the positive feedback she has been getting on social media for her portrayal of Valentina. <p>In an interview with CNN Philippines, the Kapamilya actress shared her reaction to the warm response on her character even though she is playing a villain in <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna'><em><u><strong>Darna</strong></u></em></a>. <p>"When I read tweets, I get kinda overwhelmed by the warmth and support they gave me as Valentina, as Regina. They call themselves 'Valentina Apologists' right now because they say no matter what I do, they're gonna justify it. I am really happy with all the support that my character  is receiving. Of course the support that I am receiving is also overwhelming," she said.  

Janella Salvador admitted that she feels overwhelmed by the warm feedback that she has been receiving since her transformation from Regina to Valentina.
