In Camille Prats’s latest vlog, actress and recording artist Alessandra de Rossi revealed the reason she became an actress. For her, acting was her form of escape from studying back when she was still in school.
“Noong nandiri ako sa school, ayoko na mag-aral,” she shared.
Camille, who was taken aback by the straightforward answer, asked if there was any other reason besides not wanting to attend school.
“Kasi nga ayoko mag-aral, ayun talaga yung totoong reason. Napagod ako, ayoko nito,” Alessandra continued.
Her mom, who was a cum laude back in college, warned her in the past that she would regret it in the future if she doesn’t continue her studies. But for the actress, she was determined to just do well in acting and won’t look back.
However, Alessandra revealed that sometimes she has a bit of regret not listening to her mom’s advice back then. During the initial surge of the COVID-19 pandemic, the actress was stuck at home as filming wasn’t allowed yet.
“True enough may ganun pagsisisi. Sometimes lalo na nung pandemic yung marerealize mo totoo ata yung sinasabi na get a real job kasi hindi pang frontliner yung trabaho ko. Di ako pang frontliner dapat ata nagtapos ako ng pag-aaral tapos naghanap hanap ako ng courses online andami na-overwhelm ako,” she shared.
“Sabi ko google nalang natin yung how to be beautiful because when you're pretty the world is nicer to you,” she joked.
The 38-year-old actress also gave her opinion on having a child in the future. She recalled wanting to have one back when she was still young but her views have changed over time and shared that she’s not rushing into things.
“Pag binigay sa’kin, ibibigay ko lahat. So pag nandiyan na siya, nandiyan na siya,“ she answered.
Meanwhile, Alessandra is set to star in a film titled What If alongside JM De Guzman which will be directed by Manny Palo. No other details have been released as of this writing.
