P-pop sensation SB19 is all set for their upcoming world tour titled WYAT [Where You At] Tour, which will kick off with a concert on September 17, 2022 at the Araneta Coliseum.

During a recent media conference, SB19's Ken got real about their strenuous preparations for the tour. "Grabe po 'yung training namin... Parang nakakahimatay. Umaabot sa point na parang we almost feel like collapsing during training."

Nonetheless, he acknowledged their vocal coach and dance trainer for helping them focus on their craft, and for being with them along the way. "We are really thankful na nandiyan sila kasi malaking tulong sa endurance namin kasi you know, kumakanta habang sumasayaw is really... sobrang nakakapagod. It's really tiring."

Agreeing with Ken, Josh said, "We've gone through a really hard training for the tour especially kasi it's not just going to be in the Philippines. It's going to be held actually all over the world... We're very thankful na kami talagang nabibigyan kami ng opportunities na ganito, that's why 'yung training namin pinag-igihan pa namin. At saka mahaba-haba na rin 'yung naging pahinga namin since nagkapandemic."

He then opened up about their frustrations during those times. "To be honest, parang medyo nagkaroon din kami ng parang mga frustrations during those times kasi ang daming limitations. Hindi kami makapag-events masyado. Hindi kami makapagrelease ng sunud-sunod kasi parang nagiging complicated lahat.

"And itong bumabalik na nga 'yung parang normal, we're very confident na we'll be taking this to the next level. And sana sa mga susunod na panahon, wala na tayong masyadong maging problema like this kind of pandemic nga. Sana magtuluy-tuloy lang po and sisiguraduhin namin na madadala namin 'yung Filipino music or Filipino talent sa global scale," Josh added.

Aside from their Manila concert, the WYAT world tour will also have shows in Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Dubai in October, and in New York, Los Angeles, and Singapore in November.

Speaking of which, the group also expressed their excitement about touring abroad.

"To be honest, masaya ako kasi it's going to be a first time na makakapunta kami ng US, and I'm really excited na ma-experience 'yung winter 'don... T'saka ma-meet 'yung mga fans namin at makapagperform 'don. 'Yun naman 'yung halos pangarap ng mga artists talaga eh, to perform internationally so yeah, I'm nervous but I'm confident naman na makakaya namin 'to," Ken said.

So from recording up to the tour, actually until now, we're documenting this para po ipakita rin sa inyo kung ga'no kami nagwo-work hard for our craft to inspire everyone," he said.

Composed of Pablo, Josh, Ken, Stell, and Justin, SB19 is the P-pop group behind chart-topping hits like “What?”, “MAPA”, and “Bazinga”, just to name a few. They also recently released their new disco-vibe song, also titled “WYAT”.
