Kapamilya stars Kyle Echarri and Andrea Brillantes took a trip down memory lane and shared their experiences with their fellow artists during the Star Magic's “Beyond The Stars” tour in the US.
In an interview with Star Magic Inside News, Kyle shared that the tour felt like a trip with his family.
"It really brought us together as a family. Araw-araw kaming nagkikita, tapos nasa ibang bansa pa po kami. We see different side of each other and it felt like a big family trip," he said in the interview.
When asked what was the most memorable experience for him during the tour, Kyle relayed that it was exploring New York with fellow Kapamilya artist Zanjoe Marudo.
"Pinaka-memorable po siguro ‘yung experience namin ni Z, ni Zanjoe, because he was my roommate and we did a lot of different things. We were really able to experience New York. I was able to experience New York because of Z because he brought me everywhere he went and it was a lot of fun," he stated.
On his discoveries about Zanjoe during the tour, Kyle shared, "We have a lot in common eh, our interests. There wasn't a single night that I didn't go to sleep laughing so much kasi dami niyang joke. Sa totoo lang nakita po ng lahat ng mga artists na kasama po sa tour 'yung comedy ng isang Zanjoe Marudo."
Kyle also talked about his busking experience or performing in public at Central Park.
"Sobra po akong masaya nun. I was able to do busking in New York and not just anywhere in New York but Central Park. I was able to sing for different people. It's a lot of fun. Medyo I was even nervous, medyo nanginig po 'yung kamay ko nung kumakanta ako pero I'm happy," he said.
In the same interview, Andrea also shared her experiences during the tour. The actress admitted that though it was a fun experience, it was also a challenge since it was her first time traveling without her mother.
"Masaya po siya, nag-enjoy ako. Siyempre first time ako napasali sa Star Magic tour so madaming nangyari, medyo mahirap po kasi first time ko rin mag-travel mag-isa na wala 'yung mommy ko or wala akong relative with me although masaya naman ako na kasama ko 'yung friends ko pero siyempre iba pa rin if may kasama akong pamilya, di ba? Na-enjoy ko siya, medyo challenging lang, pero masaya at worth it," she stated.
The actress also shared that performing at New York's Kings Theatre was one of the most memorable experiences for her during the tour.
"Nung pumunta na kami sa Kings Theatre sa New York kasi nung nakita ko kakaiba siya, 'yung napapanood mo sa mga movies, sa mga musical, pang-opera ganun 'yung pinerforman namin so sobra akong na-overwhelm sa saya and sobrang grateful ako na makakapag-perform ako don kasi never ko namang hiniling na mag-perform sa New York. Gusto ko lang makapunta sa New York at ayun nakapag-perform pa ako sa New York kaya sobrang saya ko lang po talaga," she stated.
