Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach just launched her own line of carpets and rugs, which she personally designed.

On her Instagram, the beauty queen-turned-actress shared the tedious process she had to go through while coming up with the various designs.

Pia collaborated with Studio Soliven, a well-known brand in the industry, to turn her ideas into reality.

It took Pia almost two years to figure out what she wanted her rugs and carpets to look like. Although it was a tedious process, Pia shared that it felt fulfilling nonetheless.

“My interest in home design really came from me fixing up my condo (and now my own house) and I like the idea of walking into a space and instantly connecting with it. I didn’t think I’ll have this kind of connection with home design but here I am designing my first carpets,” she said.

Pia shared with her followers how excited she is moving into her new home and seeing her designs come to life. She added that her “personal style” will be felt once she steps inside her house.

“I still remember when I moved into my condo, the first thing I did was lie down on the carpets Studio Soliven and I created. Wala pa masyadong laman yung condo ko noon. But you know what, lying down there, that was when I knew I was home,” she continued.

The various travels Pia made to different parts of the world inspired her with the designs she envisioned. She made sure to put the charms of specific cities from all around the world into her designs.

Aside from conceptualizing and designing, Pia is also training herself for the upcoming New York City marathon this November. She’s been preparing for the marathon since February of this year.
