Sunshine Cruz was glad to be reunited with her former husband Cesar Montano to celebrate the 18th birthday of their second daughter Sam.

On Instagram, Sunshine posted two family photos—one taken during her daughter's grand birthday bash and another taken nine years ago.

\"Who would’ve thought that after almost 10 years mabubuo ulit in one frame! In God’s perfect time talaga. Kahit ano pa ang nangyari noon, one thing na hindi mawawala ay ang pagiging magulang namin sa mga bata,\" she wrote, adding that her daughters are \"genuinely happy\" to have Cesar back in their lives.

In her post, Sunshine also thanked her and Cesar's current partners—Macky Mathay and Kath Angeles respectively—for being supportive and, most of all, loving her girls.

\"Thank you Kath for being a wonderful Tita to my girls, I/we appreciate you! My girls love your kids so much. To my Macky for accepting and loving me and my kids, we love you, Roan, Cole, and Charlie too!\" she said.
