Aside from being part of the primetime soap Flower of Evil, actress Heaven Peralejo shared how 2022 has been going for her.
“August so far has been so good, full of blessings. Sabi nga nila when it rains, it pours. Ngayon nasa holistic retreat ako just to regain my strength. But I’m really, really happy to promote our MMK directed by direk Raymond (Ocampo) and with Markus (Paterson) who’s been my friend for a long time,” she shared.
The 22-year-old actress also shared what lessons she has learned while working on her latest episode in the popular ABS-CBN drama anthology.
“What I realized with this MMK, na may ganung klaseng pagmamahal talaga. I’m a hopeless romantic but I’ve been hurt a lot of times so medyo guarded na ang puso ko. But watching this story and watching their love and seeing kahit pala ibigay sa’yo ni Lord lahat ng sakit and lahat ng problems sa buhay, pero if you’re with the right person, tutulungan ka niyang mahalin kung ano ang nangyayari sa buhay mo ngayon and hindi ka niya iiwan sa ere. So I realized na I deserve a much better love because of MMK and I really wish to find that love,” she revealed.
During the MMK mediacon, Heaven revealed that just like her latest onscreen role, she had also experienced what it feels to have a relationship online.
“May times yes siguro nung pandemic. So I met this person once and then nagkaroon ng lockdown and of course wala na kaming magawa kundi mag-message-an lang. Pero nung bumalik na sa reality and everything, dun mo ma-ri-realize na pagdating ba sa reality is it still the same? Yung pagmamahalan niyo ba dun sa online world, kakayanin ba ng reality?” she said.
Even though she believes that virtual relationships can work out in the end, the MMK actress said she would still prefer to be courted the traditional way. “I do believe that you can. Halfway ligaw sa online, get to know each other, pero if mag-de-date kayo outside kailangan may akyat bahay muna. Akyat ligaw muna. Kasi online is normal na sa generation so I do believe that you can find love online.
“I still prefer the traditional way. I’ve been raised like that so ever since na nagsimula ako makipag-date, lahat ng makikipag-date sa akin ay aakyat muna ng ligaw. Ang meaning kasi ng pag-aakyat ng ligaw, it’s not just gifts and ganun lang. It’s more of your family getting to know the person you’re dating. Ang pamilya ko kasi traditional so ang gusto nila nasa tamang kamay lang ako kung lalabas ako with a person na may gusto, yung ganun (laughs),” she admitted.
