Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi has been the focus of some international pageant fans the past few days after a Thai beauty pageant fan Facebook page uploaded malicious posts about her.

A photo of Celeste and TV personality Willie Revillame was posted by the said Facebook page with a caption that maligned the beauty queen. Aside from this, the same fan account also posted some before and after photos of the 24-year-old beauty queen suggesting that she had undergone surgery to achieve her look.

The said account labeled Celeste as “Miss surgery Philippines 2022” in the comment section which the fans of the Filipina beauty queen found insulting. Her fans defended her on the malicious content about Celeste.

“I invite my fans to not answer and fight back please. If you want to protect me, then simply use the hashtag #kindnesscampaign. Let’s not engage with any form of hate,” she shared.

On her Instagram stories, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 spoke up and thanked all of her supporters for defending her but she also urged them not to fight fire with fire. According to her, they should just use the hashtag #kindnesscampaign to spread awareness on her cause.

“People keep tagging me in edited photos of me, insults and threats. I have seen quite a lot just today and now before going to sleep. After the talk we had last week, I was hoping that this unnecessary cyberbullying would somehow stop or lessen,” she wrote.
