‘Vogue Philippines’ unveils first issue with Chloe Magno as cover star

<p><em>Vogue Philippines</em> unveiled its very first cover on Monday, August 29.</p><p>"The Philippines is fashion’s new frontier. For our maiden issue, Vogue Philippines takes you on a voyage through the three main islands of the Philippine archipelago—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao," Vogue Philippines said as it revealed its first cover. </p><p>Featured on the cover is American-Filipino model Chloe Magno who was photographed by British-Filipino-Egyptian photographer Sharif Hamza.</p><p>"Our hope was guided by the Filipino values of Malasakit (deep empathy), Bayanihan (community), and optimism that defines so much of our culture. This is the product of love. I have been fortunate enough to work in this industry for a decade. In that time I have never experienced a group of people who are more dedicated, hardworking, and joyous as the crew involved with this story.
