After announcing that she was expecting days ago, Bianca King opened up about the challenges of the first trimester of pregnancy. Being a first time mom, the actress shared with her followers everything that has been happening to her body.
“1st trimester. A joyous time filled with gratitude and… hunger! I felt all the classic symptoms. Hungry all the time, heartburn, frequent bathroom trips, nausea all day, sore boobies. I cried over anything. I was brattier & needier than usual,” she confessed.
One thing Bianca realized during the first trimester of her pregnancy was every woman is different. For her, getting up to feed herself is already a feat as most of the time she felt like an “underachieving, tired, lazy, emotional, hot mess.”
During the first trimester, Bianca was extra careful as miscarriages could happen. Fortunately for the actress, the doctors cleared her by the 11th-13th week.
“There’s the fear of miscarriage, chromosomal abnormalities and what could go wrong. Getting sucked into the blackhole of research. Also slowly discovering what I shouldn’t be eating and drinking and getting frustrated by it. No tiramisu!!! But at some point I chose to stop worrying,” she added.
Bianca shared that she also learned how to ask for the support from everyone as the first trimester is a crucial stage. She urged her followers to keep in touch with loved ones who are pregnant.
“The 1st trimester is a crucial stage in every pregnancy. It could be very isolating if you’re not ready to tell anyone. I was open with as many people as I could be. I needed the support. Just in case something happened, I wouldn’t mind sharing the bad news too,” she shared.
Bianca married her husband, Ralph Wintle, back in June 2021 and they are now based in Sydney, Australia. Ralph is the younger brother of Iza Calzado’s husband, Ben Wintle, who is also expecting his first child with Iza.
