Actress Sharon Cuneta and her family are currently in South Korea to celebrate the birthday of her husband, former Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, who turned 59.
In an Instagram post, Sharon greeted her husband as she posted photos of their simple celebration in Seoul with their kids Frankie, Miel, and Miguel.
"Happy Korean Fried Chicken Birthday lunch, my neighbor Kiko! Happy to be spending your 59th (yuuuuuck!) with you in Korea. We [heart] you. God bless you always!" wrote Sharon.
Aside from eating at a chicken restaurant, the screen veteran and her family also enjoyed a samgyupsal meal for Kiko's birthday dinner.
In her earlier post, the country's Megastar expressed her joy and gratitude for being able to finally spend quality time with her family in "one of my happiest places on earth."
"Thank you for this short escape with family," she wrote. "Badly need this."
Sharon, 56, has been incredibly busy these past few months due to her work commitments, including her stint on the recently-concluded FPJ's Ang Probinsyano and her Iconic concert tour with Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Currently, the showbiz veteran is gearing up for another acting project: the Hollywood film adaptation of the award-winning novel The Mango Bride.
