Ruffa Gutierrez proudly shared that she had just finished her studies in college with a Communication Arts degree at the Philippine Women’s University (PWU).
Sharing her graduation photo on social media for the first time, the actress and TV host started out with an inspirational quote about pursuing one’s dream in a lengthy message on Instagram.
“‘Don’t downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny,’” she began.
Ruffa graduated under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).
In the same post, she thanked the professionals comprising PWU’s ETEEAP for the guidance she had received throughout her scholastic journey at the Manila-based institution.
“I would not have been able to successfully embark on my educational journey without the continuous guidance of PWU‘s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of my loved ones,” she said.
The 48-year-old actress also shared that she had enrolled as a graduate student in the Masters in Communication Arts program of the same institution.
“Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me prosper and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU. The journey continues — unstoppable!” she said.
Meanwhile, Ruffa said she will attend PWU’s 99th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) next week.
It was in 2021 when Ruffa revealed that she decided to return to school after 34 years.
