Tapos we found out na pang ilang buwan ko na pala na pregnant ako,” Jessy said. </p><p>“Kasi late siya,” husband Luis Manzano added. </p><p>Jessy revealed that she and Luis had been trying to get pregnant for months — eventually ending up stressed each time the test came out negative. </p><p>“We’ve been trying for months. Every time na siyempre hindi kami papalarin, malulungkot kami. So, dumating sa point na hindi na ako nagtetest o umaasa o pag magkakaroon ako, naiiyak ako,” she stated. </p><p><a href='https://push.abs-cbn.com/2022/8/11/fresh-scoops/is-jessy-mendiola-pregnant-201748'><strong><u>READ: Is Jessy Mendiola pregnant?</u></strong></a></p><p>She went on: “So, dumating sa point na hindi na rin kami masyadong pressured. Kumbaga, nag-usap kami na ‘Let’s have fun na lang, let’s enjoy. And antayin natin kung kailan ibibigay sa atin.’”</p><p>“And yes, we had fun,” Luis added in jest. </p><p>“Kumbaga, nandoon ‘yung effort pero hindi namin hinayaan na ma-stress kami kung ibigay agad ni Lord or hindi,” Luis revealed. </p><p>“Tsaka baka kaya hindi natutuloy kasi na-sstress kami,” Jessy added. </p><p>They also admitted how they would expect to get pregnant whenever they would go on vacation, but things didn’t work out.</p><p>“May expectation kami na mabubuo sa Dubai,” Luis remarked. To which Jessy responded with: “Lagi tayong may expectations na ‘pag nagbabakasyon tayo, du’n mabubuo or like kapag sinunod natin ‘yung date. Parang hindi ka na nag-enjoy dun sa lovemaking.” </p><p>“It took a very heavy weight on our shoulders. Tapos nararamdaman ko siya morning palang. Parang pakiramdam ko, may laman na ‘yung tummy ko. So tinawagan ko siya, sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Alam mo Howhow bumili ka na ng pregnancy test kit,’” she said. </p><p>“Tapos ‘yun na bumili na siya, tapos that afternoon, nu’ng nag-test ako, du’n na namin nakita ‘yung positive,” she said. </p><p>Luis said Jessy was in disbelief when they got the first result, so they tried it again.</p><p>“Hindi pa siya makapaniwala kasi ‘yung unang test niya, pumasok siya ng banyo. Tapos ako, wala, no expectations na kami. After the first kit, labas siya, sabi niya ‘Love, feeling ko may isang line. Tingnan mo nga ‘to.
