The hit primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano had become a part of every Filipino’s daily lives for the past seven years — understandably making it hard for its avid fans to go on without the show on the air.

But as the show finished a chapter on Philippine television, some fans couldn’t help but ask: “Is getting a Book 2 a possibility?”

In a TV Patrol interview which aired on Monday, August 15, Coco talked about the possibility of doing a second book or whether or not he and actress Julia Montes will be starring in a remake of another Fernando Poe Jr. classic, Batang Quiapo

According to Coco, he still hasn’t had the chance to talk about it with the ABS-CBN bosses, saying he is currently preoccupied with Probinsyano’s “Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat” tour.

Then again, Coco reassured his fans that he is open to doing anything that will make viewers happy.

In the same interview, Coco also talked about his relationship with the cast of the series for the past seven years as well as how they feel about the show coming to an end.

“Parang kaming mga OFW dahil minsan isang buwan, dalawang buwan, tatlong buwan magkakasama kami tapos walang uwian. Tapos suddenly, after seven years, matagal ulit bago kami magkita-kita o kung magkakasama sa mga projects,” he said.

“Kasi hindi basta isang trabaho o isang soap opera ‘yung ginawa namin eh. Parang sabi ko nga, masyado naming dinibdib,” he added.

Meanwhile, Coco said that he and the rest of the people behind the show really worked hard to make sure viewers get the ending that they deserve.

“Pinag-aralan talaga namin.

Laging happy ending,” he added.
