Karen Davila had a question and session answer session with Binibining Pilipinas 2022 1st runner-up Herlene \"Hipon Girl\" Budol in her latest YouTube vlog.

One of the questions that Karen asked Herlene was if she is pro or anti-divorce.

Herlene admitted that she is pro-divorce, saying, \"Sang-ayon po ako dahil hiwalay po 'yung parents ko. Simula noong bata pa lang po ako, naranasan ko na nakita ko 'yung mga magulang ko na nagsasakitan, nag-aaway every day. May epekto po pala sa bata na parang na-adapt mo 'yung trauma. Para sa akin mas naging okay sila nung wala sila.\"

Meanwhile, when asked if abortion should be legalized, Herlene said that she is not agreeable to it.

\"Para sa akin lang po ah, wala pong mao-offend, no po. Kasi blessings po eh, blessings po ang pagkakaroon ng isang anak. At siyempre ang ina ang greatest gift of all,\" she remarked.

The beauty queen was also asked to share her thoughts about the controversial statement of actress Ella Cruz when she compared history to \"tsismis.\"

\"Ang kasaysayan ba, ang history is just like tsismis?\" Karen asked Herlene.

She responded, \"No. Para sa akin po kasi, napaka-simple lang po, 'wag na po nating daanin sa kung ano-anong explanation. Ang historian po is katotohanan, ang marites hindi totoo.\"

Herlene added, \"Para sa akin ang mga historian [ay] teacher na nagtuturo ng kasaysayan.\"

She was also asked about her thoughts on the legalization of same-sex marriage.

\"Kung wala naman po silang ginagawang masama ay okay para sa akin... Ibigay po natin 'yung karapatan kung saan po sila liligaya. Ituring po natin sila na normal na namumuhay sa mundo, parang babae at lalaki,\" she stated.

After Binibining Pilipinas, Herlene will be setting her eyes next on joining an international pageant according to her manager Wilbert Tolentino.

\"Humingi ako ng basbas sa Binibining Pilipinas na naghanap ako ng international pageant na ilalaban ko pa rin si Herlene. At gagamitin pa rin niya ang wikang Tagalog dahil ito ay isang marka para sa kanya,\" Wiber said at the homecoming party of Herlene in Angono, Rizal.

He shared that Herlene will also continue with show business.

\"Ipagpapatuloy pa rin niya ang showbiz at maraming upcoming na endorsement para sa kanya,\" he said.

Herlene remarked that she is already looking forward to raising the country’s flag in the international pageant she will be joining.

\"Meron man po tayong mga susunod na laban, katulad na lang ng sa international, isisigaw ko po doon at handang-handa na po ako sumigaw ng Pilipinas,\" she stated.

She also added that she will continue speaking in Filipino in her various engagements as a beauty queen.

\"Hindi ko po ikinakahiya... dahil Pilipino po ako at proud po ako na nagsasalita po ako ng wikang Pilipino,\" she stated.

Herlene was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 1st runner-up on July 31.

\"Kahit first runner up narating ko kagabi sa patimpalak ng @bbpilipinasofficial. Sobrang saya ko dahil yung masama at naka helera na ako bilang isang Luminaries ng BPCI ay sobrang ligaya at priceless ang feelings. Because I know for myself that I am uniquely beautiful with a mission,\" she posted on her social media page after winning the 1st runner-up title.

\"KUNG KAYA KO KAYA MO DIN Wag kang matakot na ipakita kung ano ang meron ka,\" she added.
