Actress Roxanne Barcelo has decided to migrate to Taiwan with her family.
Roxanne revealed in her latest vlog that she will be flying to Taiwan with her husband Jiggs and son Cinco.
“Magma-migrate na kami. We’re going to Taiwan,” Roxanne said in her vlog.
While packing her stuff, Roxanne revealed that she had never lived anywhere apart from the Philippines and the US.
“I’ve never lived anywhere for the past 23 years apart from Manila and the US,” she said.
While she admitted that her decision to pursue her soon-to-be life still hadn’t sunk in, Roxanne said she’s excited to start her new life.
“Excited na ako actually kasi masarap ang food at maganda ang kabuuan ng Taiwan. I’m excited for a new chapter, hindi pa nag-si-sink in,” she said.
Roxanne did not disclose the reason she decided to migrate, but it appears she plans to pursue a career in Taiwan.
“Baka may pa-kanta ako doon, we’ll see. Sana matuloy at sana matupad. If not, food vlogger. Gagawin ko talaga yun kasi masarap ang food sa Taiwan and maganda ang fashion. Explore natin lahat,” she said.
The actress, whose mother and brother are in the US, said she tried to meet with them but just didn’t have enough time.
Roxanne also promised to visit the Philippines at least four times each year since it’s the two countries aren’t far from each other.
She also invited her fans to follow her journey in Taiwan.
The Filipina-American actress got married to her non-showbiz husband in 2020. She gave birth to her first child in May last year.
Roxanne made her first television show appearance in 1999 via a drama series.
In 2004, she made her first appearance on ABS-CBN on the long-running variety show ASAP. Two years later, she became one of the housemates of the celebrity edition of the hit reality series Pinoy Big Brother.
