Zanjoe Marudo shares his most memorable Star Magic U.S tour experience: ‘16 years ago yun’

<p>As one of the more senior artists in the Beyond the Stars: Star Magic US Tour lineup this year, actor Zanjoe Marudo said it’s been a while since he performed onstage.</p><p>“Nakakatuwa na maging part pa rin ako ng tour nitong Star Magic kasi di ba nga ang tagal na ring wala. Excited ako na makita yung mga kapamilya natin diyan again at makapagpasalamat sa kanila. Nakaka-excite din kasi ang tagal ko ng hindi nakakatapak sa stage para mag-perform sa mga kapamilya natin dito sa <i>ASAP</i> tapos sa abroad.</p><p>“Nakakatuwa ito dahil ito yung trabaho na parang walang pressure na nararamdaman. Parang hindi ka na-pe-pressure, parang gustong gusto mo na pumunta, gusto mo na gawin, gusto mo na mag-perform para ma-meet yung mga tao, yung mga kababayan natin. Ewan ko, ganun yung pakiramdam ko pag ganitong event yung papasukin ko. Siyempre bago pa lang ako nung time na yun. Kasama ko pa yung mga friends ko yung Coverboys tapos first time ko rin sa States. Sobrang tagal na. 16 years ago yun. Ayun na-meet ko yung family ko na nasa America for the first time kaya nakakatuwa. Hindi naman mangyayari yun nung time na yun kung hindi dahil sa trabahong ito, sa tour na ginawa namin. So nakakatuwa. Siyempre andiyan yung excitement pero kailangan ready kayo kasi hindi siya madali. Nakakapagod siya physically kasi kanya kanya tayong dala ng mga gamit natin, wala tayong mga PAs na kasama. Pero okay yun kasi magtutulungan naman tayo at hindi naman tayo kumbaga mag-iiwanan sa show na ‘to. Kaya tayong magkakasama dito para mag-bonding, yung pagiging magkapatid natin sa Star Magic.</p><p>“Ang pinaka importante siguro mag-enjoy talaga, have fun tapos enjoyin natin yung lugar. <p>As one of the more senior artists in the Beyond the Stars: Star Magic US Tour lineup this year, actor Zanjoe Marudo said it’s been a while since he performed onstage.<p>“Nakakatuwa na maging part pa rin ako ng tour nitong Star Magic kasi di ba nga ang tagal na ring wala. Excited ako na makita yung mga kapamilya natin diyan again at makapagpasalamat sa kanila. Nakaka-excite din kasi ang tagal ko ng hindi nakakatapak sa stage para mag-perform sa mga kapamilya natin dito sa <i>ASAP</i> tapos sa abroad.<p>“Nakakatuwa ito dahil ito yung trabaho na parang walang pressure na nararamdaman. Parang hindi ka na-pe-pressure, parang gustong gusto mo na pumunta, gusto mo na gawin, gusto mo na mag-perform para ma-meet yung mga tao, yung mga kababayan natin. Ewan ko, ganun yung pakiramdam ko pag ganitong event yung papasukin ko. Wala akong pressure na nararamdaman kasi excited ako na magpasalamat at makita yung ngiti at saya ng mga kapamilya natin abroad,” he said.
