Currently in the US for his Fully Vice-cinated shows, Vice Ganda’s career has continued to grow even during the pandemic. Last year, the popular comedian shared online about earning more and receiving new awards. Aside from hosting and acting, Vice has also become a trusted endorser for brands who believe in his star power. During his Saridon Sarimax mediacon last month, the 46-year-old It's Showtime host revealed that he feels so blessed that he could not ask for anything more in his life right now.
“Seriously, right now, wala na akong extrang hinihiling. Kasi I want to enjoy the blessings I received now. Kasi di ba lagi tayong maraming hinihiling, lagi tayong maraming in-a-aspire, lagi tayong maraming gustong ma-achieve. Araw-araw gusto nating may laging bagong ma-achieve.
“Ang problema dun, may lagi tayong may gustong ma-achieve, yung pag binigay sa atin yung pinapanalangin natin, pag dumating siya hindi natin ma-enjoy. Imbis na ini-enjoy natin yung pagdating ng biyaya natin, meron na namin tayong bagong gusto,” he said.
Even though he has many goals that he still wishes to accomplish, Vice said he is also focused on living in the moment especially during the pandemic.
“For the longest time that I’ve been praying for things, for blessings. Ngayon na nandidito na siya sa harap ko, gusto ko lang siya i-enjoy. I want to enjoy my career, I want to enjoy my relationship with Ion (Perez), I want to enjoy my family, my friends. Yung estado ko ngayon, gusto ko siyang i-enjoy lahat. Kaya pag nag-iisip ako, ‘Ano pa ba yung gusto ko?’ Ayoko muna mag-isip ng panibago. Kasi gusto ko siyang ma-enjoy now. Yung ganun,” he admitted.
During his Saridon Sarimax presscon, Vice also revealed other dreams he wishes to fulfill someday.
“Since I am being asked, just to answer the question, siguro another dream is magkaroon ng sarili kong anak. Pero hindi ko minamadali. Hindi ko pini-pressure yung sarili ko na matanda na ako kailangan magkaroon ako ng anak. If it will happen, I will embrace the moment when it happens. Pero for now, okay lang din hkung wala kasi ito ang binibigay sa akin na buhay ng Diyos,” he revealed.
The It’s Showtime host also hopes to pursue an international career someday if given the chance.
“Pangalawa yung suntok sa buwan. Pero hindi ko rin naman kumbaga pini-pressure yung sarili ko na dapat mangyari na pag hindi malulungkot ako. Yung maka-penetrate internationally. Kunwari ngayon, okay naman ang career ko sa Pilipinas. Yung maka-Hollywood, yung ganun. Yung malaki yung pangarap na yun. Siyempre iba yung the Filipino horse makes it to Hollywood di ba? (laughs).”
