Former actress Rica Peralejo recently became a guest on ASAP Natin ‘To last July 3. Along with her were her fellow Ang TV stars Jolina Magdangal and Nikki Valdez. The three performed with Regine Velasquez and Zsa Zsa Padilla on the ASAP stage.

After their performance, Rica posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the iconic ABS-CBN hallway as her background. Being one of the biggest artists back in early 2000s, the former actress couldn’t help but reminisce about being inside the place she once called home.

“Nag-ASAP today.✨ This hallway, next to my own home, has been the space of my childhood. Everything feels different while also everything feels familiar. Like it was only yesterday,” she wrote.

In their post-performance interview, Rica felt good to be back on stage and it made her realize the life she had before she quit showbiz.

“Part of me is emotional, and maybe that comes with your 40s and you realize so much of what shaped your life. How some things began. And it reminded me today of how I never wanted to be popular, and that I only wanted to be a performer,” she continued in her post.

After retiring from the industry, Rica started her career in vlogging on her official YouTube channel. She is close to hitting 400 thousand subscribers after she opened her channel.

Her ASAP performance reminded her about the things showbiz gave her back then. According to her, one can’t be entitled when you are in the industry and need to always remain humble despite the fame one has.

She was also reminded about the time she entered the industry decades ago––when her sister brought her into the ABS-CBN compound.

“I entered ABS-CBN that day as a regular kid with an ice cream stain on her peach shirt she bought on sale in Cinderella, and went out with a new direction in her hands. 💭 TOO. MANY. MEMORIES. TOO. MANY. DEFINING. MOMENTS,” she added.

Followers and friends of Rica commented on her post saying how much they’ve missed her on stage and hopefully her ASAP stage wouldn’t be the last time they’ll be seeing her on television.
