Ahead of their concert tour in Manila on September 11, South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE gave a special message to Filipino NEVERLANDs.

“Filipino Neverland, finally the moment we have been waiting for is about to happen,” their leader, Soyeon, said.

This would be the first time the girl group would be visiting the Philippines and their fans can’t wait. They announced that the country was part of their concert tour for their JUST ME ()I-DLE world tour.

“We heard that Filipino fans are splendid and super happy people so we are going to work hard to make our first show together very special,” member Yuqi shared.

Originally a six-member girl group, one of the members, Soojin, departed back in 2021. The remaining members continued to perform as a five-piece act. They are set to perform in the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

“We can't wait to show you what we prepared,” vocalist Miyeon excitedly said.

The group’s world tour began in June with a two-day concert in Seoul, followed by several stops in the United States. (G)I-DLE will then return to Asia to perform in key cities such as Jakarta, Tokyo, Singapore, and Manila.

Shuhua, surprised the Filipino NEVERLANDs, as she spoke in Tagalog asking them to wait for the girl group.

“Abangan niyo kami, Neverland,” she added.

Ticket selling for the concert started on Sunday, July 31. Prices range from P3,500 to P10,000. Tickets are available via the TicketNet website and outlets nationwide.

(G)I-DLE was formed by CUBE Entertainment back in 2018 with their debut song, Latata. They went on to release several hits such as Señorita, Oh My God, Dumdi Dumdi, and Hwaa among others.

Last March, the girl group dropped their very first full-length album - I Never Die - topped the Korean music charts with their single Tomboy.
