Liza Soberano had her first guest appearance on a South Korean TV show recently.
The Filipina actress graced MBN's Not Hocance But Scance.
In the said episode, Liza had a conversation with the show's hosts Ye Ji-won, Ji-young Kang, Nicole Jung, and Soyou over samgyupsal.
When asked by Nicole why she is in Korea, Liza shared, "Kind of vacation and kind of work. I am just exploring Seoul and I'm a huge fan of K-Pop and K-Dramas so I want to find work here."
In the same show, Liza shared that she is also a big fan of Korea's variety shows.
"I always looked up to random variety shows to understand the culture so yeah I watched," she said.
The actress was also asked by Ji-won why she loves Korea.
Liza replied, "I've liked it since I was 11. It started with K-Pop and then I started watching dramas like Boys Over Flowers."
After her first guest TV appearance in Korea, Liza took to social media to express her gratitude to the hosts for making the experience an amazing one for her.
"Had my first ever Korean show guesting tonight on MBN's Not Hocance But Scance. Produced by @pdlshoon. Thank you to the hosts and guests of the show for making the experience fun and comfortable!" Liza posted on her Instagram Stories.
Since signing with Careless Music as an artist, Liza has been exploring opportunities abroad.
She recently toured the YG Entertainment headquarters alongside K-Pop artist DK of iKON.
Liza also met WINNER's Seunghoon, popularly known as HOONY and filmed a TikTok video.
The Filipina star also recently met with Jay Park and collaborated for a TikTok video.
Earlier this July, Liza was also spotted at the Starship Entertainment office alongside Careless Music President James Reid and Careless Music CEO Jeff Oh.
Liza also did a TikTok video with Starship Entertainment's Yujin of IVE recently.
