Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz narrated her experience when the 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Baguio City.
Hidilyn’s manager Noel Ferrer shared a video of them outside their hotel room at the Baguio Country Club, recounting her experience following the earthquake that hit number of areas in northern Philippines.

The earthquake came a day after their much-talked-about wedding in the City of Pines.
“Akala ko si Julius [Naranjo] gumagalaw. Pero nu’ng matagal-tagal na, sabi ko kailangan ko na magdasal,” Hidilyn said.
Meanwhile, Hidilyn’s husband Julius — who is half Guamanian and half Filipino — said the people of Guam are used to experiencing quakes.
In another photo shared by Hidilyn herself in one of her Instagram stories, she and her husband can be seen evacuating the Baguio Country Club — the hotel where they stayed in.
Noel, on the other hand, could only utter great words about the management of the hotel for taking care of its guests — providing food for them while patiently waiting outside.
Hidilyn and Julius got married on the first anniversary of the time she snagged the country’s first Olympic gold medal.
