Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz and her coach Julius Naranjo tied the knot in Baguio City on Tuesday, July 26.

The couple got married on the first anniversary of Hidilyn winning the Olympic gold at Tokyo 2020.

Earlier on Tuesday, Hidilyn took to social media to pen a message about their big day.

\"Today marks the first anniversary of our winning the Gold medal in the @olympics for the Philippines. And today will also be a memorable day for @imjulius and me, we will get married today,\" Hidilyn posted.

Meanwhile, Julius also wrote a post on his Instagram page to celebrate the occasion.

\"One year has passed since the historic Gold medal, here’s a recap of this historic moment. With what @hidilyndiaz and I accomplished last year, now it’s on to forever,\" Julius posted.

Prior to their wedding, the couple held a welcome party for their guests in Baguio on Monday, July 25.

\"Thank you for traveling here to Baguio to witness our wedding @imjulius. Thank you for the friendship and the love. I love you,\" Hidilyn posted.

On July 23, Hidilyn also shared on social media her bridal shower with her friends and family.
