Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz and her coach Julius Naranjo tied the knot in Baguio City on Tuesday, July 26.
Nice Print Photo shared the snapshots of the couple from their church wedding.
The couple got married on the first anniversary of Hidilyn winning the Olympic gold at Tokyo 2020.
"Same day last year, @hidilyndiaz won our country its first ever Olympic Gold Today, she won yet another Gold, as she married the love of her life @imjulius," the photo company shared on social media.
Earlier on Tuesday, Hidilyn took to social media to pen a message about their big day.
"Today marks the first anniversary of our winning the Gold medal in the @olympics for the Philippines. And today will also be a memorable day for @imjulius and me, we will get married today," Hidilyn posted.
Meanwhile, Julius also wrote a post on his Instagram page to celebrate the occasion.
"One year has passed since the historic Gold medal, here’s a recap of this historic moment. With what @hidilyndiaz and I accomplished last year, now it’s on to forever," Julius posted.
Prior to their wedding, the couple held a welcome party for their guests in Baguio on Monday, July 25.
"Thank you for traveling here to Baguio to witness our wedding @imjulius. Thank you for the friendship and the love. I love you," Hidilyn posted.
On July 23, Hidilyn also shared on social media her bridal shower with her friends and family.
"Thank you, friends, #teamHD family, and dormmates. You make this day special to celebrate my bridal shower with you and I remember the time when I was broken-hearted, crazy in love with all the guys I fall with and fall on stairs, get drunk and drink a lot of coffee just to share with you that I felt empty that I need someone to talk to, you were there when I'm down and when I'm happy, thank you for being my family here in Manila and thank you for the love. Thank you for the surprise and I love you guys!" Hidilyn posted on social media upon sharing the snapshots from her bridal shower a few days ago.
