Kristel Fulgar fulfilled her fangirl dream after chatting with her idol, Korean star Seo In-guk.

The actress had the opportunity to talk to In-guk virtually for an interview about the latter's new album Love&Love.

\"Alam niyo bang tatlong araw na akong kinakabahan. Hindi ko na-imagine sa tanang buhay ko na makakausap ko siya. Pwede 'yung picture, 'yun ang pangarap ko talaga pero 'yung kausap hindi ko talaga alam. Lalo na ngayon question and answer interview di ba? Kailangan maging professional tayo. Ang hirap, paano ba?\" she said in the introduction of her vlog.

Kristel shared that she was 16 years old when she first became a fan of In-guk.

\"Wala na akong naging ibang idol, siya lang talaga. Simula day one, simula 16 years old ako hanggang ngayon, Seo In-guk lang. Sobrang amazing niyang tao para sa akin. Ang galing niyang kumanta, hindi lang sa magaling siyang kumanta eh. Meron akong hinahanap na boses na nakita ko sa kanya as a singer. Na-appreciate ko 'yung quality ng boses niya and siguro 'yung style niya. Ang galing din niya umarte, kahit anong genre, napaka-versatile na actor - drama, comedy, rom-com, kayang-kaya niyang i-pull off.\"

The actress became sentimental saying that she could not believe that after a decade, she would finally talk to In-guk.

\"Isang dekada tapos nagkaroon ako ng opportunity na ganito. Alam ko kapag tinanggihan ko 'yung opportunity na 'to pagsisisihan ko habang buhay kaya kahit kinakabahan ako ng sobra, kahit sobra 'yung pressure na nararamdaman ko, alam ko magiging worth it lahat,\" she stated.

During her interview with In-guk, Kristel asked the Korean actor-singer a couple of questions.

One question she asked was what In-guk wants to accomplish in the next five years.

\"(English translation) I plan to work hard and focus on my next albums, dramas, and movies. I got motivated to work harder these days so that I can show myself more to my fans who have been loving and waiting for me. Those are the things that I'm planning to do,\" In-guk shared.

Kristel also asked In-guk on what he thinks sets him apart from other Hallyu and K-Pop stars of his generation.

In-guk replied, \"There are many famous artists but what differentiates me from them is maybe I am both a singer and an actor at the same time. There may be many attractive, handsome, and pretty artists, but I have my own unique character that differentiates me from the others.\"

Kristel also asked the K-star about his trip to Davao, Philippines when he was shooting his movie No Breathing a few years ago.

When asked what was his favorite thing about visiting the Philippines, he relayed, \"I really liked all the sceneries my eyes could see. I love the weather, the ocean, and the people.\"

\"I loved the food and I really liked the color of the ocean,\" the actor added.

During their chat, Kristel also opened up to In-guk that she's a big fan of the actor. Kristel also confessed that she actually learned the Korean language because of him.

\"I'm a huge fan of yours! I've watched all of your dramas [and] memorized your songs. Because I wanted to understand you better, I tried learning the Korean language,\" she told In-guk.

\"Really? Wow! Thank you so much!\" the actor exclaimed.

\"Yes, for real... For me to be able to watch your 10th year anniversary concert, I even flew all the way to Korea. I'm one of your Angels (fan group of In-guk) who are waiting for you to come here to the Philippines. If that happens, I hope I can get even just one selfie with you,\" Kristel said.

In-guk replied, \"We can even take a hundred.\"

After the interview, Kristel couldn't help but be emotional.
