Angelica Lao denies going sexy in ‘Beach Bros’: ‘Hindi pa ako pinasuot ng masyadong revealing’

After being welcomed into<a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/squadplus'> Squad Plus</a> last year, teen actress Angelica Lao said she felt blessed to be offered the role of Yasmin in the new iWantTFC series Beach Bros which starts streaming this month.“Yung role ko, very ambitious siya. Alam niya yung goal niya in life. Alam niya yung purpose niya kung bakit ganun yung family niya, mahirap lang sila and all. Siguro dun makikita natin yung determination ni Yasmin. Actually parang parehas kami ni Yasmin. Dahil 17 pa lang ako hanggang shorts pa lang kasi hindi pa puwede. Yun yung maganda dahil hindi pa ako pinasuot ng masyadong revealing. Pero wala namang problema kung magsuot ako ng revealing pero yun kasi yung sinabi at tsaka yun yung gusto ng mom ko na huwag masyadong revealing kasi bata pa ako,” she explained. When it comes to wearing sexy clothes, Angelica admitted she didn’t want any guy dictating on what she should wear.“Siyempre yung mga friends ko pinapayagan ako kung ano yung gusto ko suotin. Kunwari yung guy sabihin sa akin na huwag ko suotin yung mga ganyan, ganyan, ayoko na red flag na para sa akin yun. Yan yung ayokong mangyari sa akin sa isang relationship kasi never pa ako nagkaroon ng boyfriend. As much as possible gusto ko yung non-showbiz para mas maganda yung experience na walang shino-showbiz, ganyan. Si ate Chie kasi pag tiningnan mo siya parang fierce lang lagi. Pero hindi, sobrang soft niya and funny. Si Kyle (Echarri) naman, medyo hindi kasi kami magka-work before, so nung na-meet ko siya dito lang din sa Beach Bros, sobrang bait niya, caring, maalaga. Mabait lahat tapos si ate Kira (Balinger) pinakamabait na jologs na makikilala niyo. Mukha lang sosyal pero hindi (laughs). Hindi talaga. Sobrang saya nung taping. Parang hindi kami nagtatrabaho. Puro bonding yung ginawa namin.
