Radio and TV personality DJ Chacha shared her family’s experience after her eldest daughter, Sabb, caught the dengue virus.

In her latest YouTube vlog posted last Sunday, July 17, DJ Chacha narrated to her subscribers detailed her daughter’s health condition.

DJ Chacha filmed the vlog last July 6 but posted it weeks after. She went on to share how she only found out that her daughter caught the virus days after the latter started having fever.

“Si Sabb kasi pag may mga nararamdaman yan, kapag kaya niya itago, itatago talaga niya,” she shared.

The 34-year-old DJ said she initially thought that her daughter was simply caught the regular flu since it’s flu season. However, her family noticed that Sabb’s fever would only show up at night and never during the day.

“Yung Thursday, nag 38 [degrees Celsius] yung lagnat niya,” she recalled.

The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate immediately called her doctor to seek help, narrating how she explained her daughter’s condition.

The doctor then advised DJ Chacha to bring Sabb to the emergency room as soon as possible since the symptoms were leading to the dengue virus.

Although her daughter tested negative for the dengue virus antigen detection (NS1), the doctors ruled that the symptoms all led to the dengue virus.
