Judy Ann Santos shared that she is currently taking a pause doing cooking videos on her YouTube channel amid rising food costs and inflation.

In an episode of Magandang Buhay, Judy Ann said: "Ang hirap kasing mag-isip ng mga episodes especially kung ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin ay napakalala."

The actress explained that she wants to remain relatable to her audience.

"Ayokong hindi maka-relate 'yung viewers sa kung anumang lutuin ang gagawin ko kasi parang napaka-unfair naman. Tuma-timing lang din naman ako. After lang din ako roon sa reality ba," she stated.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the inflation rose to 6.1 percent in June as food and fuel prices continue to increase.

Judy Ann said that she will be making cooking videos again in the future once she finds the inspiration.

"Eventually, gagawa. Gumagawa ako ng episode ng Judy Ann’s Kitchen 'pag nabuo ko 'yung sarili ko, 'yung gusto ko siya, inspired ako kasi outlet ko ang Judy Ann's Kitchen," she remarked.

The actress added: "Ayoko siyang tratuhing trabaho. 'Pag trinato ko siyang trabaho, mawawala na ‘yung genuine authenticity (ng show)."

The actress has 1.69 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

The last video she uploaded was five months ago when she shared her maja blanca recipe.

Judy Ann premiered "Judy Ann's Kitchen" on YouTube in October 2017.

Back in 2015, she also released a cookbook called "Judy Ann's Kitchen."

In 2006, she took up a culinary course at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan. She graduated with honors.

In an interview with Sharon Cuneta in the latter's YouTube vlog in October 2020, Judy Ann explained why she enrolled at a culinary school.

"Ang habol ko talaga sa pag-aaral ng culinary is I want to be a good example to Yohan. Si Yohan pa lang ang anak namin noon. I want her to be inspired to finish her studies kasi baka sabihin niya, 'Bakit ako magka-college, ikaw nga hindi?’ Ano isasagot ko? Oo nga naman. May point," she said.

Judy Ann is also a restaurant owner. She has two branches of Angrydobo, one in Taft Avenue in Manila and the other one is in Alabang in Muntinlupa.
