"1 MILLION in 1 YEAR!! Thank you Lord, what a blessing! Wow! We started our YouTube channel last May 1, 2021 fearful & unsure. I kept asking myself, 'who is going to watch us??' And a year after, here we are!! It was 5 am of May 7 when we hit the magic million," she posted on her Instagram page," she shared on her Instagram page last month.
She added, "Thank you guys for appreciating & loving the stories we share! Our channel is meant to inspire, entertain and teach valuable life lessons thru other people’s experiences."
Karen relayed that it was Kim Atienza who encouraged her to venture into YouTube vlogging.
"Thanks to @kuyakim_atienza for encouraging me to do this & for mother @arboledabiboy for your guidance! To @mr.mikeibanez’s team - our editors, from Janina to Keo - salamat!! And of course my dearest Karen, Sherwin & Rachel - the channel is only as good as the stories we share!" she relayed.
It was in April 2021 when Karen announced that she is launching her own YouTube channel. The TV Patrol anchor relayed that she had always wanted to have her own YouTube channel.
"I have been putting this off for so long, for years actually and finally had the courage to do it! I have been in the broadcast industry for 27 years but am really just learning new things on YOUTUBE. I am a newbie. I want to enjoy it and hope to be a part of your lives in a meaningful way," she said back in 2021.
Karen added that she also wanted to share her journey to her followers.
"I want to share about my life, my loves, my dreams. I also want to help you go through personal challenges, issues, difficulties. WORK IN PROGRESS pa tayong lahat!" she stated.
Karen posted her first YouTube vlog on May 1, 2021.
