Actress Kris Bernal and her husband Perry Choi finally got the chance to go on a honeymoon, nine months after the two tied the knot.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, June 29, Kris revealed that they will be spending their "long-awaited, long overdue" honeymoon with a month-long trip in Europe.

"Our first stop was supposed to be in London for Adele's concert. Unfortunately, the UK Visa did not make it. Thankfully, we were able to sell our Adele tickets. The rebooking cost us a lot. Huhu," she shared.

The actress said they are now kicking off the trip by going to Switzerland. From there, they will visit the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, "and the list goes on!"

Kris and Perry tied the knot in a church wedding ceremony that was live streamed on the actress's YouTube channel back in September.

The couple had been dating for more than three years when they got engaged in February 2020. In an earlier post, Kris shared that she is looking forward to starting a family with Perry in the near future.

"I've been asked a lot since I got married when I'm going to have a baby. We aren't planning to have a baby just yet, but we aren't actively trying to prevent it either. Of course, I adore children and aspire to have my own," she said.

"Work continues to pour in, so I'm going to try to make the most of it while it lasts. But if it comes a surprise, then so be it. In God's perfect timing. God’s timing is impeccable. His plans, always. On the other side, I'm looking forward to having a mini Perry," she added.
