Irish rock band The Script is set to return to the Philippines as part of their Greatest Hits Asia Tour.

The Script has been added to the long list of international acts who will be performing for Filipino fans this year following a hiatus of live events in the country due to the pandemic.

Local concert promoters Wilbros Live and Midas Promotions announced on Wednesday, June 1, that The Script will stage their Manila show on September 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Fans can expect to see The Script perform hits such as “Hall of Fame”, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “For The First Time”, “Breakeven”, “We Cry”, and “Rain”, among others.

The Script released their first track in 2008 and has since become one of the most loved bands in the world.

The trio, composed of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power, released their last studio album Sunsets & Full Moons in 2019.

They last came to Manila in 2018.
