‘Crash Landing on You’ star Hyun Bin is set to have his wax figure at Madame Tussauds

Korean actor Hyun Bin will soon have his wax figure at Madame Tussauds.

In a video uploaded on Madame Tussauds Singapore, the wax museum announced its partnership with the actor.

"Hyun Bin, popularly known for his role as Captain Ri Jeong Hyu in Crash Landing On You will be immortalized in Madame Tussauds and his figure will be touring around Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong!" Madame Tussauds said.

In the video, Bin expressed his excitement about having his wax figure at the museum.

"Hello everyone I'm Hyun Bin. I'm very honored to join the Madame Tussauds family and my wax figure will be touring around in Asia," the actor remarked.

Bin also encouraged netizens to watch out for updates regarding the launch of his wax figure.

"Wonder what will my pose be and where will be the first launch location? Follow Madame Tussauds SNS channels to be the first to know!" he said.

Fans online were quick to express their excitement about Bin's wax figure.

"I'm so excited. Good news!" one fan stated.

"Will have to pay a visit when the wax figure is launched!" another fan commented.

Bin made his debut as an actor in 2003 in the television show Bodyguard.

He rose to global recognition after starring in the hit Korean show My Name is Kim Sam-soon in 2005.

He was also part of the hit shows Secret Garden and Memories of the Alhambra.

In 2019, he further catapulted to worldwide fame through the hit Korean series Crash Landing on You. Bin played the role of Ri Jeong-hyeok, a North Korean elite soldier. He starred in the series alongside Son Ye-jun who portrayed the role of Yoon Se-ri, a South Korean heiress.

Bin and Ye-jin became a couple in real life. The two Korean stars got married on March 31 in a private ceremony in Seoul.

It was in February 2022 when the couple announced their engagement.

"I am writing this because I wanted to let my fans, who have shown me such enormous support and love and cherished me despite my flaws, know first about this most important decision of my life," he said in his engagement announcement back in February.

"I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life. I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead. The ‘Jung Hyuk and Se Ri’ who were together in the drama will take the first step together in that future," he added.
