Pinoy Pop girl group BINI was recently recognized by the American music and pop-culture magazine Rolling Stone as one of the rising international artists to look forward to. The magazine added the girl group to its Spotify RADAR program, a collection of artists and songwriters worldwide.

Their hit song, “Pit A Pat”, was described by Rolling Stone as “a summer anthem brimming with attitude and optimism that sees the group confidently singing about empowerment, respect, and ambition.”

“Pit A Pat was written by Korean songwriter Sophia Pae, while the Tagalog lyrics were written by all eight members of the girl group. According to Rolling Stone, while the song is dubbed as the summer anthem, the girl group is a gem in itself.

“[They] have a loud, vibrant, sugar-coated vibe that is only second to their commanding, ear-grabbing style. They’re here, and they won’t let you forget it,” the magazine wrote.

Meanwhile, the girl group also celebrated their first anniversary since their debut. BINI will be celebrating with their ever supportive fans, called Bloom, through a virtual meet and greet. Marking their anniversary, the girl group also released the music video to their hit song, “Na Na Na”, for their beloved fans.

Aside from all of these, BINI will be holding their “BINIversary” on Saturday, June 11 at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

Dubbed as the “nation’s girl group,” BINI is an eight-member group that debuted last June 2021. The P-Pop girl group is composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena.

The girl group is slowly breaking into the international music scene.
