Karen Davila took to social media to celebrate a milestone in her vlogging journey.
The ABS-CBN broadcaster shared that she has reached one million subscribers on YouTube.
"1 MILLION in 1 YEAR!! 🎉 Thank you Lord, what a blessing! Wow! We started our YouTube channel last May 1, 2021 fearful & unsure. I kept asking myself, 'who is going to watch us??' And a year after, here we are!! It was 5 am of May 7 when we hit the magic million," she posted on her Instagram page.
Karen then extended her gratitude to her subscribers and followers who watched her stories on the video-sharing platform.
"Thank you guys for appreciating & loving the stories we share! Our channel is meant to inspire, entertain and teach valuable life lessons thru other people’s experiences," she said.
The TV Patrol news anchor also thanked the people who encouraged her to start her YouTube channel and the people who have been helping her produce her videos.
"Thanks to @kuyakim_atienza for encouraging me to do this & for mother @arboledabiboy for your guidance! To @mr.mikeibanez’s team - our editors, from Janina to Keo - salamat!! And of course my dearest Karen, Sherwin & Rachel - the channel is only as good as the stories we share!" she said.
Karen also expressed her gratitude to the Lord for this new milestone in her life.
"Thank you LORD for being with me every step of the way! This is only possible because of you! This is your channel 🤍 Love and light always!" she stated.
It was back in April 2021 when Karen announced that she was putting up her own YouTube channel.
"I have been putting this off for so long, for years actually, and finally had the courage to do it! I have been in the broadcast industry for 27 years but am really just learning new things on YouTube. I am a newbie. I want to enjoy it and hope to be a part of your lives in a meaningful way," she said back in 2021.
"I want to share about my life, my loves, my dreams. I also want to help you go through personal challenges, issues, [and] difficulties. Work in progress pa tayong lahat!" she added.
