Roxanne Barcelo took to social media to share her heartwarming message for her late father, who would've turned another year older this Friday, May 6.
In an Instagram post, the actress expressed how much she misses her tatay, Antonio Barcelo, who passed away in July 2019 after suffering a stroke.
"Happy birthday Tatay. Oh how I miss your laugh, your voice, your hugs. I know you would be so proud of who I am now. You were right, 'Dadating din yan.' I wish you were still here so you could meet my husband and your grandson," she said.
Roxanne, 37, is now enjoying her married life with her non-showbiz husband, Jiggs.
The couple is currently based in Palo Alto, California with their son, Cinco, who was born in May 2021.
In her post, the actress also wrote: "You taught me all you could, loved me with all you had. I know your love still guides me and lights up my path. I am who I am today because of your unconditional love. Thank you, my Tatay. I miss you everyday."
Roxanne's father was in the United States to visit his son Timmy when he suffered a stroke in June 2019.
In a past interview, the actress revealed that her father underwent a series of surgeries on his brain before he eventually passed away.
