“I sought help and did online therapy to help me deal with what I was going through.” This is what TV Personality Maggie Wilson revealed to her followers and to the rest of Instagram.

In her post, Maggie shared what has been happening for the past years even before her separation from businessman-husband Victor Consunji happened. She had been “trying to keep things happy and light” until she couldn’t do it anymore in 2021.

“In 2019, I went through one of the hardest challenges in my life emotionally. 2020 wasn’t any better. I thought things were getting better then I got hit again with more emotional distress. Then, lockdown happened and that wasn’t easy for any of us. I sought help and did online therapy to help me deal with what I was going through. (There’s absolutely no shame in seeking help.) You couldn’t really tell by my posts on social media because I was trying to keep things happy and light until I couldn’t take it anymore in 2021,” she opens up.

She added that everything has been constantly fluctuating for her during those dark times in her life––her weight gain and loss, her skin suffered, and she had trouble sleeping peacefully. The 33-year-old claimed that she is “broken” and because of the things she has experienced, she had trouble trusting people again since it gave her anxiety and unwarranted stress.

Maggie, however, stressed that even if she experienced those bad days, she is trying her best to handle it.

Friends and fans showed their support in her comment section, with most of the comments giving Maggie a virtual hug.

“At the end of the day, we’re all human and no one is perfect. So love yourself a little more, give yourself a pat on the back, and continue working on you. I am/We are a work in progress,” she closes.
