After winning in the men’s doubles badminton event of the Star Magic 30th All Star Games, former varsity player turned actor Neil Coleta shared how he and his partner Daniel Padilla prepared themselves for the games last May 22.

“Actually before this event, nag-practice kami ni DJ. Siyempre ang goal natin dito is ma-enjoy lahat.

Before the Star Magic 30th All Star Games, Neil said that he and DJ had already started training again together and the kapamilya actor revealed he was impressed by his partner’s improvement in the game. The two actors already had a connection after 11 years of being friends. They first worked together on the 2011 teen oriented series Growing Up which was also DJ’s first TV project.

Pero ngayon bumalik because of the Star Magic 30th All Star Games. Bumalik siya and medyo nangapa ulit pero in fairness bumalik. Nakita niyo naman ang ganda ng mga set-up,” he shared.

Neil also shared that his passion for the sport actually started when he was still a student.

“Ex-varsity talaga ako before sa Adamson.
