Currently preparing for her upcoming concert Luv-Anne: The Comeback Concert next month, Anne Curtis shared how excited she is to showcase her now improved voice as well as how she is working on other surprises in store for her live concert audience.

“Mas marami siyang pasabog. I can say na medyo mas nag-mature yung style. Siyempre hindi naman mawawala ang biritan diyan. But I will say na nakapahinga talaga yung voice ko. Gumanda talaga. I won’t say sobrang ganda pero may improvement. At hindi lang yun, what’s great about now is I’ve been able to take voice lessons again. Talagang nag-prepare ako for this,” she shared.

Compared to her previous concerts Anne Kulit, Annebisyosa, and The Forbidden Concert, Anne said her latest one will have a more cozy vibe at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

“I think what’s different about Luv-Anne is of course it’s a little bit more intimate than the other concerts given the venue and of course given the current situation din kasi di ba? So I really feel that it’s kind of like a reunion amongst my followers and my friends and my family that I haven’t seen in a long time. So it really has more of a personal touch to it. Kaya sobra akong excited.

“And I think in a way, ang isa pang sobrang bago dito is sobrang well rested ang boses ko ngayon (laughs). Hindi siya pagod. So I think you will see na may diffference ang voice ko, may improvement kahit papaano,” she shared.

Even though she hasn’t been posting much about her activities, Anne revealed she has been preparing hard for her concert.

“There’s a lot of preparations. I haven’t been posting for several months now but that’s something I’m working on again. Like doing all the social media content. But I’ve really been preparing. I’ve been doing dance rehearsals like at least twice or thrice a week just to get movement in my body again. I’ve been doing the band rehearsals and taking up voice lessons.

“I’m really preparing myself because you know it was two years of normalcy for me, of being a mom. The most singing I was doing was nursery rhymes. So I just needed that kickstart. Even the dancing, yung pampalambot ulit ng katawan. So there was a lot of prep time. I’ve been doing it for several months now,” she revealed.

“And even in terms of films, parang si Viva has been sending me different scripts. When we will shoot that, we’re still trying to figure it out kasi we’re still dealing with the pandemic kahit papaano.

“Parang during that previous time kasi parang may lock-in pa na nagaganap pag nag-shu-shooting and I wasn’t ready to do a lock-in and be away from my daughter. May mga konting adjustments that we’re still figuring out along the way. But at least the prep time is already there.

“I’ve been reading the scripts and eventually I’ll be able to take up an acting workshop again because I feel like I’m so rusty already. I’m really prepping in the different fields that I’m passionate about,” she shared.
